This is always the hardest page to write.

My name is April Flowers.  I am 49 years old and have “gypsy feet,” as my mom calls them. Basically, until the last five years, I haven’t been able to live in one place more than 4 years since I was 18 years old and moved out of my parent’s house.

I was born and raised in Southeast Texas, and I find myself back there again, living in Houston this time.

For a day job, I teach college English, but my hobbies are my passion.

I knit, I take photographs, I read voraciously, and I geocache.
